Lid+ Erasmus+ Application workshop

‘LID+’ is a year-long programme of free services
and events that will promote, inform and provide access to, not to mention support your potential involvement in the Erasmus+ Programme.

The Inside Out Programme, based in N Ireland is one of only seven project funded by the EU Commission in the UK that is tasked with promoting the Erasmus+ programme.  ‘LID+’ offers a free bespoke service that aims to increase participation in EU Mobility activities over the coming year.

After a successful seminar to promote Erasmus+ the project followed up with an application workshop on the 29 September 2017 to help organisations prepare their funding applications. Europe Direct NI worked with a local organisation to help submit an application.

Celebrating EU day of languages in schools!

The European day of languages is celebrated every year on the 26 September.

The day of languages is an initiative of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg, with events and activities for youth taking place across Europe.

Europe Direct NI was invited to run workshops in schools in Enniskillen, Omagh and Derry to share the importance of languages with nearly 500 pupils.

Workshops took the place of their usual language classes and pupils took part in quizzes and explored the languages used in the 28 EU member states.
